Well that turned out to be simply a memorable experience with the weather playing its part, the whole team putting in a right good performance and last but not least a wonderful farewell to the legend that is Derek Lyle. Hopefully Naysmith learns from the event that an attacking formation and real passion from the off stirs up the supporters who were fully behind the team throughout. I also thought Dykes was a clear candidate for the man of the match and put in a tremendous shift upfront with Dobbie. Please can we play with two up front for all our home games?

Just noticed on the team sheet that Queens only had 5 players on the bench so does this mean that Beerman, Todorov and Cameron
have returned to their own clubs ?

id expect so ftivano ,thay havnt featured too much since signing on loan ,so makes sense letting them go back early as with just brechin to play after that united game thay wernt going to be getting on the pitch ,i would of maybe put another young lad from the development team on the bench just for the experience of being in the first team environment tho .

Fordyce told me last weekend that Cameron had already returned to Newcastle as I expect Beerman has also. He was the least used loan player.
