    Can't have escaped you that there is a titanic battle going on for automatic promotion to the Championship next season. A mere two points separates leaders Ayr over second place Raith Rovers with two games to play . It must be said that Ayr's superior goal difference could mean this two point lead is a three if you know what I mean ? Dumbarton, who will finish second bottom, will play either Arbroath or Alloa in their first play off game as they fight to stay in the Championship.

    Should be really close in the run in. Hamill and Anderson played for Stranraer yesterday at Ayr with Grant scoring Stranraer's first goal and winning 2-1 with a late penalty after Shankland was sent off for Ayr late on in the first half.
