Strange bunch of folk on this thread. They seem to think by ignoring all facts the rubbish they post somehow becomes fact. Facts are both the SPFL and UEFA official websites state Rangers FC remains the same club,SPFL website lists all honours won from the 1800's to the present day and the UEFA website clearly states it's the same club,even listing Rangers European history from the 50's right up to the debacle in Luxembourg. It also gives Rangers an extra co efficient point for winning the ECWC in 1972...not bad going for a club folk on this thread seem to think was formed in 2012. Add to that the European Club Assoc and the Advertising Standards Authority both agreed with the SPFL and UEFA what does this all add up to? Well it adds up to folk on here having no idea about insolvency law or the power of administrators,and it's strange they seem to think it's perfectly ok for clubs such as Hearts (liquidated 1905) Hibs (vanished for over a year then came back as a different Hibs obviously) both claiming honours won by the "old" clubs,and completely ignore clubs such as Leeds Utd (no cva) who are fully acknowledged as the same club...yet the rules are different regards Rangers? Anyone could be forgiven for thinking Rangers were/are the most successful club in Scotland and a lot of folk are desperate to believe otherwise. Fortunately the SPFL SFA and UEFA decide on such matters...not fans of the smaller clubs.

You can peddle the myth as long as you like but deep down we all know the truth. You let your club die.

Rangers (rip) are indeed, no one has said otherwise, but a dead club cannot win anymore, so they will at least be that until they are overtaken by Celtic

I only have one question for you. Why was your team not playing in Europe the year after they were liquidated? They finished in a European spot didn’t they?
