I find all of this talk about fizzy/PL players a bit of a joke. What makes a fizzy player and what makes a PL player? It´s completely subjective, even if football was an individuals´game and not a team game. You could say that PL players are better, technically, than Fizzy players but I wouldn´t classify Andy Carroll as a good, technical player but I would certainly classify him as PL quality striker when he played for us. Then again, when he went to Liverpool, I wouldn´t - how does that work, then?

Anyone who knows anything, knows that a team can perform to a greater than the sum of it´s individuals´ talents or less than the sum and what decides a PL or Fizzy team can only be the results (wins and losses) that the team records. That, in turn, depends on how thoses players play together as a team, something hugely dependent on the manager/coach.

when you have uneducated fools (in the terms of footy )putting up with dire footy and calling the players they allegedly support fizzy when they have won the league to defend a manager clearly not making the correct selections ,formations or as you imply to their strengths .
they weren't playing to their stregths as rafa was picking the wrong players (joselwho etc )

I don't mind people saying me and a few off the others having digs at rafa have gone quiet
as it seems he has changed the way he was setting the llads up and also the way we play

anyone with an ounce of knowledge can see that

look how many plyers we were getting in the box yesterday compared to sitting back and inviting the opposition on

look at how much further the back 4 are up the pitch

he has definatly changed which is a good thing

but if he had done it earlier I have no doubt now we would be hoping for Europe

Surely you with all of your knowledge and experience must realise that before our revival Rafa was only able to work with and use the tools available him within what they were capable of doing.

Since the addition of certain quality players he has been able to develop the side and play a more expansive game.

It's ABSOLUTELY F ALL to do with how you thought we ought to have been playing before.

SIMPLE Rafa now has a slightly better toolkit to work with and he is getting more out of it.

Quite simply the two players you mentioned have made a considerable difference. As you say anyone even a fool can see this.
