    Well done city

It would be a dream for NUFC to win the premier League.
I know how much money they have spent over several years is beyond a joke.
But they have played some tidy football this season
They have been the team to beat and head and shoulders above the rest.

    Congratulations

In assembling the current squad, Pep Guardiola - and a handful of his predecessors - has spent an incredible £777million, according to CIES Football Observatory.

Recent mega-money signings including £57m-man Aymeric Laporte and fellow £50m defenders Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker have attributed to the incredible total sum.

In fact, no club in Europe has spent more on their squad than Man City - with money-bags Paris Saint-Germain the only club to even come close.

Not that spectacular when you look at the figures!!

Hollow as fk. They needed the CL to make it a good season and the quadruple for me to have any respect for them. Think what Rafa would do with even 77 million.

Honestly I think it’s been over shadowed by their hammering by Liverpool in the Champions league

They shouldn't have tried to pork the bus; they made a right pig's ear of it in what was a crackling atmosphere.

Chelski bought it with artificial money and Citeh have done the same except costing more. Credit to Gooners, Manure, Liverpool and the likes of Leicester who earned it.

agree ! This is the difference between Jose and Pep, Pep is a fundamentalist with a clear philosophy to adhere to. He needed to be more pragmatic imo. the problem with city imo is the way Pep plays is so fluid and clear but it requires all the players to be on point and if one player isnt on form the system cracks quite easily hence when they seem to lose they dont lose 1.0 they usually cop more than 2 goals.

However, when City are on form which to their credit have been most of the season they are no doubt the best team to watch in the world, a game that comes to mind is Man City vs Tottenham earlier in the season. I have never ever seen football played like that . Tottenham couldnt even get out of their half it was like watching FIFA.
