Thing is he bigs himself up to be this fantastic top class manager (didn’t he say he should be managing Real a few years ago), bangs on about never being relegated (wow), but fans just see straight through him. All fart and no smell!

He's fulfilled exactly what was asked and even the fans earlier on would have agreed with how he set about it.

The problem boils down to fickle like we all are at times.
You see, now they are safe none of it is good enough and his football is not what they want right now but was fine earlier on when trying to leg up the league.

They believe they're entitled to more than that considering what's been spent and the fact Rooney returned as some kind of returning god.

he issue is, are they entitled to better than what Allardyce is giving at this moment in time? I'd say, no they're not. I'd say they should be well happy with where they are at the minute.

If Allardyce had been brought in to get them Europa or to push for a champions league place then they'd have every right to want his nuts on a skewer...but that was clearly not the case...and I think the real problem stems from the new owners forcing Koeman into buying overrated players on big wages and massive transfer outlay and was expected to perform miracles with an instant massive team change.

However, that's just my best guess and opinion.
Sam was lucky with the timing of his appointment, the youngsters coach who had taken temporary control had already improved performances i.m.o. Sam was sitting in the stands and hadn't even made any decisions when Everton hit 4.The media put the big win down to Sam but he had done Feck all as yet.

I will never forget going to Derby and Sam putting out a defensive line up,Derby won 1-0 their only win all season.

You know as well as anyone that a new manager creates an uplift...just walking through the door.
Allardyce wasn't lucky because Allardyce was headhunted for the job...he didn't beg for it.
Unsworth wasn't having a clever time of it before Allardyce came in, so the argument is open for debate but has no real relevance regardless, because the owners asked Allardyce to fulfill a role and he has.

I remember it well and I wasn't happy about it, either. In fact I was fuming and wanted his head on a stick, plus the players....you know, the usual stuff...but that's not the entire story, is it?

He never really got a chance in any real capacity to put his own stamp on things before he was cruelly ousted, regardless of whether people were/are glad or not.

The thing is, every kid will throw away a bag of humbugs in order to swap for a bag of jelly babies.

I see the Everton chairman has apologised to Fat Sam One of the questions was rate him out of 10 as a manager of Everton.

    An error in printing apparently
