Great start to the season. 9 wickets for Ball and 8 for Gurney. Notts need 10 runs to win.

Unbelievable morning. Lancashire lost 8 wickets for 15 runs in just 10.2 overs. Notts currently 5/3 chasing a target of 10!!!!

Notts 10/4 means a 6 wicket win. Bloody good job we weren't chasing 50 the way the pitch seems to be playing!

The BBC correspondent was saying most wickets were avoidable, loose shots etc... still a great win at a ground you really don’t want to be playing at in April!

The Notts batting line up is truly awful for this level. With a tail starting at 7 it’s lucky we were only chasing 10. And our bowling saved us on what must have been a very difficult batting track after the first day.

We’ve lost a lot of good batsmen in a very short space of time and are looking very very thin on the ground.

A couple of injuries to the ancient middle order and we are in dire straits.

If we stay up this season it will be a significant achievement by Moore’s
