Margaret Thatcher didn't abandon our overseas friends, ask the Falkland Islanders. And she sent our own lads to the job, she didn't resort to paying and arming Islamist Jihadis to do the job, and then moaning and wringing her hands when it turned nasty.

She had some fairly grubby associates like Pinochet though sinkov, who thought nothing of torturing and murdering 40,000 of his own citizens...

There really is a no win situation with immigration, let’s be honest if you have an opinion your racist and there it ends.
Brexit was in truth about immigration and our lack of control of it —— 2 years on were still not in control of it.
I’m not sure we have been doing the right thing for many years BT to be honest. ( regardless of labour or conservative leadership).
Sadly it’s as another post —- the politicians really do not care about me,you, or anyone except themselves and their own personal gain.
Grown adults barraging each other shouting mimicking and carrying on in parliament like children whilst we are at the thick end dealing with the overspill of S-ite they churn out and expect us to believe.

I voted to leave the EU, I said at the time we would be better ruling ourselves, although we would need to be a lot better in every aspect of Governing.

The poor negotiating tactics of Brexit and all the other nonsense that we have been fed, now this Windrush has hit the fan, makes you wonder what else they have messed up and is hidden.

The old saying "This Government couldn't run a bath" is mainly said in jest, but it fits very well, they are not fit for purpose.

If its so clear to Theresa May now (even if she is denying the many numbers) why did people who work in that department not realise it for years ? Did another Document not get read, or is it shoddy work ?

Some are even saying it is Racism, yes that card is being used AGAIN, it has nothing to do with Racism, its to do with leaders not knowing their arse from their elbow.

You like me and others are right Army, this Government really do not care about me, you, or anyone except themselves and their own personal gain.

Theresa May first stated it was because of Data protection that Landing Documentation was shredded, then she said it was Border Control, now she is blaming Labour, which is it ?

These West Indians who helped build our Country have lost relationships being torn away from their families, lost their jobs, in some cases lost their Homes and their Status which has drastically changed their lives.

All Theresa May has done is advise people who have had difficulty is to see a Solicitor, have you seen the price of Solicitors nowadays ? but go ahead and pay for one for OUR mistake(s).

And the kicker is.. . . . . . . . I am Sorry... . . . . . . well sorry is not enough for this particular gigantic cock up, heads need to roll and someone has to bring us back to some sort of proper Governing with decency and honesty instead of hiding behind smiles, apologises, lies and putting the blame on other people.

After very careful consideration I voted to leave the EC.

My decision had nothing whatsoever to do with immigration, I just wanted us to take back control of our own destiny.

Unfortunately, we now have a current Government who really must be the most inept in living memory.

How the fcuk we ended up with Theresa May running the whole kit-n-kaboodle I just do not know!

What really troubles me as a Labour Party activist is we should be running rings around this lot and we are not.

    Brexit - Cock-up!
    Syria - Cock-up!
    Northern Ireland - Cock-up!
    Immigration - Cock-up!
    Sterling - Cock-up!
    Zero Hour Contracts - Cock-up!

...and Corbyn still cannot appeal to the media driven, marketing of political manoeuvrings.

    I despair, I really do!

Did you know that none other than Enoch Powell actively supported West Indies immigration during his time as Health Secretary?

The NHS had a huge shortage of staff and he used the Windrush people to help meet the deficit.
