Thread: Theresa May shown up again.. .. . .

  1. #41
Even after all of the political meanderings we do on here, we all seem to agree the system is broken and we have no-one to fix it.

    I despair, I really do.

As long as the Tories and Labour are funded by vested interests we will always get politicians unable to act in the public interest.

That is the main reason why I am a Lib Dem supporter. Our MP's are genuinely in it for the right reason. If they were "career" politicians then they would join the Labour or Tory party.

As long as Labour are in hock to the unions and the Tories are funded by big business then we all know where their priorities lie.

The influence on the Labour Party by the Trade Unions is long gone.

It's Momentum you lot need to worry about.

Every CLP, every corner and every nook and cranny is being infiltrated with left wing radicals.

I love it, I really do!

    Morning BT!

The unions still provide 45.6% of Labour's funding. Without that Labour would really struggle.

It's all right being taken over by left wing radicals, but are there enough left wing radicals in the country to elect you? A party needs support from a much wider spectrum to win a General Election.

The cutest thing 1959-60 is that these kids realise it too!

They are media savvy and know which issues to canvas on and what appeals to the whimsical populace.

    Interesting times ahead methinks!

Trouble is, the general population only see Corbyn, Abbott, Thornberry etc and make their mind up based on what they see.

I really can't see Labour winning the hearts and minds of many middle of the road type people.
