Thread: Theresa May shown up again.. .. . .

  1. #31
Theresa May's response in the House of Commons was to blame Labour for shredding the landing cards in 2009 and not her decision to change the Immigration Act in 2014.

When challenged by Corbyn on this "Shameless" issue she said she refused to be criticised by a bunch of anti-Semitic rabble rousers (or words to that effect).

    I despair, I really do!
What's the Sterling cock-up, that it would fall if we voted leave was the only part of Osborne's Project Fear that he got right, but against both the Euro and the Dollar it's now back to pre-referendum levels.

Why would he not, that's why we asked them to come.

IMHO Sterling should be going through the roof!

The Euro is too inclusive across 27 member states, it's dull, it's boring, it's not strong enough to withstand an incredibly strong, versatile, unique currency that is backed by adequate gold reserves and a valuable homeland nett worth in property and assets.

Visit London and see the vast wealth, the infrastructure and enormous opportunities to trade. The US dollar is not worth a fart because of a proposed trade war between the Orange Buffoon and China.

Sterling is the best currency for safety and security and we should be trading at 2:1 against the Dollar and the Euro but because of the total uselessness of Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn we are looked upon as weak and rudderless.

We have nothing to fear but let's get rid of these two plonkers and look underneath the two front benches, surely we are capable of producing better than the current imbeciles?

I watched Diane Abbott on Channel 4 news last night explaining the Labour Party's response to Windrush, it really was cringeworthy. Rudd or Abbott? Ye Gods, we must do better than this.

Seriously, would you invest over here when we have a right old Royal visit from our Commonwealth leaders, who have to witness the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition resort to name calling and petty childishness within the confines of Westminster?

I still don't see the sterling cock-up BT, but I wouldn't argue with what you say. Poor Jeremy, he really isn't up to the job is he, anyone presented with such an open goal at PMQs as Windrush, but who somehow manages to put the ball into row Z of the stands should step down and give someone else a go. Have you no one else on the far left of the Labour Party who could do better ? What about that slimeball Starmer, personally I can't stand the guy, but I don't think May would be running rings round him at PMQs, which is after all half the battle of leading HM's opposition.

Trouble with Corbyn is he is too one dimensional and simply cannot think on his feet.

Maybot just teases him and bruises him and I am sure he dreads the weekly showdown?

We do not need a Leader from the far left of the Labour Party, just a media savvy political intellectual who is a true socialist.

    Pity I'm not younger!

"just a media savvy political intellectual who is a true socialist."

Therein lies your problem BT, during your search you're far more likely to come across a unicorn.

I know one or two very quick witted members of the Labour Party, but they never had an interest in making a career out of politics.

I am happy to confirm however there are a couple of thousand left leaning, young graduate educated hipsters on their way through the Labour and Momentum ranks.

Give it another decade and they will sort this cesspit out!

Apologies for tampering with someone else's post, I couldn't help myself. Anyway best of luck with the search BT, you just never know, there's got to be someone out there more competent than the two muppets currently in charge hasn't there. We both know that.

Bt I also voted leave and for similar reasons to you although I have to admit immigration was one of them, I’m not daft enough to believe we can survive without it because we can’t but as my original post said control of it would be a start.
I get tired of hearing about people jumping - beating and robbing our system, getting of a boat and being given a house and money etc etc.
My wife met a young man on the streets of Leeds a week ago he was homeless wet through from persistent rain and cold to the bone, she offered him some money and he refused and cried saying he was in a bad place, so cold and at his wits end.
She bought him a sleeping bag and he cried again.
Our country is on its backside with so many issues ( this is a small one ) but I am waiting for the day when someone actually gets hold of the reins and says we’ll sort our issues first and make Great Britain GREAT, before we borrow more money to give to other countries or to support immigrants who come here and cheat our system.
