As we came out of the ground we turned left and headed for the city centre the police had rounded up all our prominent's and had them surrounded further down the road .
We walked past them and to be honest I thought the police would escort them back to the station and stay with them on the train till they got off at Barnsley .
That's why we had a few beers in The Scarborough to enable them to leave Leeds because we didn't want to be rounded up with em .
Saw this at Spurs pre match in the cup tie in 98 , , the Met rounded everyone up and marched them up to the ground at 1pm , we were in a boozer on Tottenham High Road watching through the window as they passed by .
Never seen owt like that before or since , mad .
Hall Of Fame
We were marched to pubs near Kenilworth Road during 2006/7 season. We would have been fine but one of the lads in our group was friendly with the SYP ruined a good day that.
Then after game Police got us straight to train station and ordered us on first train out of there. I got off at next stop which was Bedford and was lucky I didn't have a jobs worth guard as my ticket wouldn't have been valid anymore as I had advanced tickets.
