It highlights two failings in McInnes, an over loyalty to players past their best (Considine/Reynolds) and how poor the last couple of years have been in signings made (Ball/O'Connor/Arnason).

Having said that, if we hadn't been defensively rubbish that night (and actually Lewis was the biggest culprit) whose to say that McKenna would be where he is now?

You may be right or or you may be wrong, the reality is that nobody knows, its just best guess stuff at the moment

We don't know the funding plan for the stadium so how much will the playing budget be impacted
We don't know if sevco will have their act together by then so are we playing for third at best and struggling even more to win a cup
We don't know if McInnes will still be manager or not
We don't know whether prices will be increased and if so by how much at new stadium
We don't know how good or bad parking will be
We don't know what traffic will be like after game and whether AWPR makes a big difference or not
We don't know if Considine will still be playing left back or not
and
We don't know if Maynard will have scored by then or not
