Poor first hand by all accounts, game changed putting McDonald on for Gillespie

Good to get some goals, other positive is more game time off the bench for Briels and Fraser, a lot of small good signs however, not getting my hopes up either

QotS next on Saturday in Dumfries

bizzare thats brechins biggest defeat of season. Given they are on 4 (FOUR) points that surprising. ICT beat the 4-0 3 times and the tims 5-0 at home in cup

Poor first half , could have been behind. Brechin hit post at start of 2nd then Utd took over. McDonald changed the game when he came on. Much improved 2nd half with plenty chances and some good goals. Good night's work.

I have seen quite a few really bad 45 minutes of football over the last few years, but that first half has to be down there as the very worst. It has to be noted though that the players, after being kicked all over the park, did not lie down and curl up into a ball this time but dusted themselves down and showed that football can win over in the end!

We got kicked all over the park in the first half and didn’t know how to deal with it. In the second, it was a different story.

First goal came from concerted pressure. McDonald sent king through for second and he smashed it in. 3rd was great, nice touch from fraser before ralston put a belter of a ball in for McDonald to volley home.

No exaggeration to say that Fraser’s free kick (25 yards, top bag and in offl the underside of the bar) was the finest United free kick I’ve seen in 20 years following the team. Finally, Moshni got the goal his performance deserved- we need to offer him a contract ASAP

First half was disappointing and dull and we were lucky not to be a goal down - there was very little creativity in the team.

In the opening 2 mins of the 2nd half Brechin hit the post, but after that United finally moved up a gear and tore Brechin apart.

McDonald started the 2nd half with Gillespie being subbed and it proved to be the right decision.

Brechin were good in the first half, but it was all United in the 2nd half.

So, a game of two half's with United turning on the style in the 2nd half.

Difficult to decide on best player, but the introduction of McDonald made a difference.

It was also very close to being 0-6 but a combination of luck and good goal keeping kept the score at 0-5.

    Laszlo does it again.

The team can withstand an in your face, hard-working Brechin performance and then go on to win with style.

Progress, however small, and at the right time of the season.
