    Top Ten finish...

    Bournemouth losing tonight increases our chances, we are now 3 points above them, with a far better goal difference (although I've read on here, goal difference doesn't matter) and 2 games in hand.

    iirc "a decent manager would have us in the top half"

    Fantastic effort even avoiding relegation so to even be in with a shout of the top 10 is astounding.

    Nobody said goal difference doesn't matter.
    What was said in terms of a relegation fight was, goal difference has only saved clubs in 5 of 26 seasons it's been going and isn't something to be relied on.
