Fan arrested for running up to referee

Was always going to happen at some point, I’m surprised there hasn’t been a riot yet.
Peter Banks the Ref, no ****ing surprise there.

I was at the game (friends son has just started playing for Oldham and I only live about 4 miles away) , what made me laugh was all the stewards, and there were a lot of them, only pursued him once the Oldham players had got a grip of him and were matching him off! Oldham have banned him from all games for two years and he still has an appearance in court to look forward to

What was a referee doing with Class A drugs on him?

Basically it’s a disaster waiting to happen. Fences now frowned on post Hillsborough, police that don’t want to be arsed to do anything and crowd control looked after by a few stewards paid the minimum wage.

Sooner or later a fruit loop will get on the pitch and knife a player or official, then there will be a wringing of hands and public outcry.

Tick tock it’s only a matter of time.
