    Thistle - John Lambie Stand

I see that Partick Thistle are remaining their North Stand in memory of John Lambie. Good on them.

Nice touch though it was so inevitable it makes me wonder, as always, why wait till the bloke is dead... Liverpool and Manchester united recently seemed a much better policy.

Does this mean in many, many, many years in the future, our South Stand will be known as the Steven Robinson Stand? Named after the manager who got us to 2 finals in 1 season, and thwarted Celtics 'double-treble'!

Given we don't have a stand named after the manager who got us to three finals and two trophies in two seasons, I'd be surprised...

Is there anything at all actually named after Stevenson at Fir Park? Seems an oversight.

Robinson, if he wins the cup, should certainly be on the list for stuff but as a club we've never seemed great at publicly acknowledging greats.
