Finished Yorks 256 all out after a good innings by Hodd (62), and some determined resistance fro the Yorkshire tail-enders.
Notts 53-4 - three of those wickets taken by Brooks
    Could be a close game?

Yorks eventually got the last two Notts wickets after some stubborn resistance by Ball. Notts 188 all out.
    Yorks lead by 68 runs

Pathetic batting by Alex Lees again, out for 6 & 0. So we're now 13-1 (which actually means 81-1).

Lees' poor form continues from last season. We could do with a right-handed "blocker" to open with Lyth. Good second innings performances from Ballance and Leaning though - both remained unbeaten as Yorks finished the day on 189-4

That totally abandoned first game, according to the Leeds met office the pitch had only had 1 hour of rain on it in the previous 7 days.

Time to give Drains R Us a call.

What is it with British sports and weather. FFS last weekend the north shore of Kauai in Hawaii had 36" of rain in 48 hours and that didn't stop the local surfing fixtures from being played

    Wimps

Last week off the coast of Perth (Australia) their surfing competition was called off due to shark attacks.
