A few of our more far sighted posters did say way back when we got Lesley that recruiting veterans was a road to ruin and today maybe confirmed that, people like Nugent and Huddleston have just run out of puff. Incredibly we are still in the mix but I’m dreading Tuesday as I’m taking my daughter for her first game and trying to wean her away from Man City. Frankly, no chance.
