So pleased to see the fight back in the team...

But, also so sad that it has been missing for the majority of the season! A carry-on from Old Trafford, again with all players showing the commitment and spirit we love to see.
There were some tired legs towards the end, particularly Nyom and Philips, but both gave 100%.
Difficult to nominate MOTM, but Rondon took some stick and came close, but for me Hegazi continued to impress and gets my vote.
Remarkable the transformation and great to leave consecutive matches feeling happy!

Great to hear Prando mate, and, can’t but concur with your sentiments about the lack of this for major parts of the season.

Now, 5 games with caretaker managers during this season, and unbeaten (including Spurs away, Man U away and Liverpool home)...

So sad that they let Pardew take over, sticking with Pulis I am convinced that we would have had more points - probably in the relegation zone as well but with more points. Then the end of the season might have been interesting, sacking Pulis later and with a caretaker manager in charge for the remaining games.

Wonder whether Pulis and Pardew actually blushed if they watched that performance.

I can’t agree with the Hegazi praise.

Steve McMahon gave a very good critique of the match on SKY today and he described Hegazi as “a liability”.

He was very critical of Liverpool’s defence as well so it wasn’t a biased view of the game at all.

Hegazi reminds me of Paul Mardon.....commanding much of the time but seems to have a couple of minutes of madness in a lot of matches.

Better than Stacey North and Kevin Steggles though.

If only We'd paid off the p Rick pardew earlier we could have been a contender.

All the team played well, but for me Livermore was my MOTM. Hope we can keep him.

I thought McLean had a good game and surprised when he was subbed for Johnny toe rag. McLean would be one of the first names on my retain list, 100% every game. But he's Irish and doesn't like the Queen, so best get rid.

He also contributes no goals, no assists and has an uncanny knack of hitting the first man with every cross. A winger who supplies nothing is a luxury we have had for two years and a luxury we can no longer afford. His nationality and politics are irrelevant he is a useless footballer.

I genuinely hope that game in front of the TV gets him a big money move away. One of the taxi 4.
Seriously mate. Have you bern watching a different player the last two years to me?
Look beyond one game and tell me the evidence of his contributions over his time with us that warrants us hanging on to him.
    I am totally baffled

Agree with this. He has hardly had any good games for us though his last 2 have been acceptable. I wouldn't keep him. Much prefer Phillips who knows how to go past a defender and cross the ball. He was subdued under Pulis, forced into defensive duties far too often. Willie, Clarkie and Laurie didn't contribute much defence wise but remain 3 of our greatest.
