Reason for postponement? Fan safety travelling both to and from the game.

I have already mentioned the Cardiff fans that got stuck in snow on their way back home. By the time the match would have ended, many roads in the rural areas north of Derby, where many of our fans live were closed.

Still, you being a Sun "reader" means you never let the facts ruin a good story.

The Police thought it was fine, just a panel of Derby people didn't. Games predominately still go ahead at this level when it snows unless around the ground is covered in snow or ice. If you can't make it then tough, you chose to live with your cousin in the hills.

I don't read "The Sun" newspaper. I'm unsure as to why you mentioned that other than to detract from your weak argument?

I remember 2 matches being called off at the city ground because of snow when Billy Davis couldn't put a full team out, it was alleged that he told the ground staff not to shovel any snow away from around the ground knowing that the game/s would be called off, from memory it was when forest were top of the table with those 2 games in hand and they still fecked it up
