    Appreciate the kind words Stoke.

    Ultimately, I blame the players.

In one breath we have people saying Csaba is to blame but then saying they would only keep a handful of players. So the players are good enough sometimes but not all the time.

And that group of "professionals" allowed themselves to split into factions, disrespect the fans (laughing about Csaba showing them pictures of fans who care more about United than they will ever do apparently), get Ray sacked and disrespect Csaba. All while taking a wage.

They downed tools when the holiday camp closed.

They failed themselves, the manager, the club and the fans all while laughing and joking and taking the wage.

No manager, especially one who didn't put that squad together, should be judged on the actions of that dreadful group. Csaba in no way responsible for their don't give a **** attitude. A sick dressing room is a millstone around any coaches neck.

Especially a coach who has to work with his predecessors best mates (subconsciously at least likely to want the sacking of their mate to like a mistake) like that's not a conflict of interest. He was set up (Not deliberately) to fail.

Not much to argue, Monday night showed exactly beyond all doubt that Csaba is not fit to manage United or capable or achieving what is needed

It's a very scary prospect that there is a chance of him being our manager beyond this season, nothing good can come of that, we won't get the much talked about stability, certainly not the positive kind, we won't get the positive vibe about Tannadice again that we very much need, we won't get the numbers through the gates that we should be getting, we won't attract players we could otherwise attract, the new chairman won't get much goodwill

It's beyond belief we have someone mentioning our best manager of all time to try and convince people who will never be convinced that Csaba should remain, not even comparable circumstances for a start so it's a non starter

Let's hope common sense prevails and he is gone asap

It is history that the team actually went backwards for THREE years with a lot of turgid crap on show at times.

History can tell you a lot. Just because it's a certain figure shouldn't mean it's a no go.

Had Jim and his start happened today we would have threads on here calling him a dud and calling for his head and wanting us to hire someone else. People wanted him gone back then.

Thankfully we didn't. He was given time to build his own squad.

    It is a valid point.

It certainly is, people nowadays have zero patience in every aspect of their life. Football is symptomatic of this. Your point about Jim McLean is completely valid and could be said about Alex Ferguson too. Nowadays these guys would be sacked after 6 months.

I’m pretty certain that csaba is not fit to lace the boots of jim or Sir Alex

Sir Alex adapted throughout time to be one of the best man managers and leaders of men ever seen.

I'd probably take the piss out of csaba tae.
If thats true then it shows he cannot command respect from his players. We need a manager that will command respect.
Maybe the players know a ****e manager when they see one. Unkike our chairman.
Keeping csaba WILL be a disaster. We are heading for league one, thanks to Mr Martin.

'Sir Alex adapted throughout time' - Exactly the point I'm making, nowadays managers aren't given any time.

You have to show or do something to justify getting time, has anything Shabba has done or “achieved” this season given you the belief he should get more time?

If the players had no respect for him show some balls - play the youth team if necessary. I’d have more respect for him if he’d dropped players x, y or z and publicly stated their attitude was unacceptable.

If he stays he will need to get off to a good start and have a miraculous turnaround in playing style/quality otherwise it will be Groundhog Day again and we’ll be looking for a new manager in Sep/Oct/Nov.

FWIW I don’t want him to fail but I just don’t think he’s up to the job...
