We just need to win our final games. Our form has picked up when we only had 5 games left. You never know, stranger things have happened. If Kanye West can have a fan base, anything can happen!

I used to have optimism like that a good few years ago, and sure enough I won the race against some pretty stern competition....and nine months later I was born.

I'm generally optimistic but like yourself I'm also of the opinion that we 'spunked' our chances some time ago.

But, you never know COYB .

The point is this. It looks a dead cert we are going down, but what if we took our foot off the gas and the three teams above us lost their remaining games. Its more than possible with the run they are on. We have to bust a gut until it is mathematically impossible, and even then being professional means we still give our all till the end of the season.

The three teams above us cannot lose all their remaining games. It is impossible as Swansea have to play both Stoke and Southampton.
