    Aberdeen v Hearts

First game I'll be at since the Hampden sh*tshow. Friday night should be a healthy crowd and we should really be beating this mob.

I reckon it will be a tough tight game.
Hearts typically set up to defend away from home and hit on the counter attack.
I think we may struggle to break them down again.
Eternally optimistic though so going for a small win

I used my wildcard in my prediction. I'm calling one of those results that come out of nowhere that nobody expected. A bit like the hibs game at home earlier. 3-0 O'Connor hat trick.

    I'll take that right now
Noticed Stevie May more prominent in the set pieces against Killie.
Set up a great chance for McKenna and our second came from an O'Connor header.
Hearts strength is defending set pieces, hence why their happy to kick their way about the park, so it would be interesting to see if May continues from Saturday and can beat the Hearts parked bus.

Hopefully GMS is fit and "up for it" players like him have the ability to create chances against a stubborn side like Hearts. It'll take a big performance from the team but hopefully we can sneak a win.

The hun cu*ts defending for their lives unlike Sunday against SEVCO
kicking everything in sight and getting away with it by a pathetic ref.

    Lewis
    Logan AOC McKenna Reynolds
    McLean Shinnie
    Stewart Christie GMS
    May

they'll likely play 3 centre halves, so need width to stretch them

I know it would be a hard call, but who in particular would you prefer as ref and who would you not.

For letting players get away with their hammer thrower tactics, Kevin Clancy seems to be particularly bad.
Craig Thomson also seems to have a lack of blowing for blatant fouls.
It shouldn't make a different, but certainly I think the ref is a major factor in these games.

you may laugh, I'd rather it was a strict ref who doesn't mind cards.
    Collum?
    Can't believe I'm saying that!

Rather that than a lenient ref who lets most things go, like that hun pr1ck Madden

I agree, we need a strong ref that will not let fouls go, or pull back when we have a clear advantage.

It will be a classic us vs them game with us having the lion share of possession failing to take any of our chances and then getting hit with the sucker punch. No reason to expect any different .... it is Levein's Hearts after all and that is generally what happens.
