    Martin Lewis

Was going to title this with Facebook, but although a few on here use it most like me cannot stand it.

Well after all the data and information from some members gets nicked, now Martin Lewis is bursting his blood vessels after Facebook have used his photo to promote scams.

What's more Facebook are telling Lewis that is it up to him to monitor the situation and has nothing to do with them, even after Facebook have been paid plenty of £'s for entertaining them.

Mark Zuckerberg with his Facebook are taking the P!SS

I was on it for a while and got my daughter to delete it a few years ago after much frustration. However, I got an email from them saying someone had reactivated my account yesterday and lo and behold it still has records of my birthdate, email address, my former friends and despite trying to find how to delete it eventually managed only to deactivate it. This means they keep lots of my information and it can be reactivated. Seems my daughter must have only deactivated it too. I left lots of rude messages saying why do you not say how to delete an account. Their email says you have to email them, but doesn’t say where and it may take 90 days and if your friends have info on you that won’t be deleted and Facebook messenger isn’t stopped. If you use the site before they delete it it will be reactivated. It only has links to delete children’s accounts and says these don’t work for adults.

In passing it doesn’t seem possible to delete your Clarets Mad account either!

There is so much fake stuff doing the rounds that it is hard to know what is true and what is false these days. A healthy scepticism is recommended but the truth is out there somewhere! Meanwhile I am adopting a phrase of the day (shamelessly purloined from Word of the Day). I will have no truckle with that balladmonger, he needs astroturfing.

It's our resident snowflake we have to look out for, never mind bloody Facebook!
