Another 9th minute applause planned for Del up at Brechin. It worked well on Saturday

So match number 48 this season 52 if you count the 3 friendlies and Lyles testimonial and I have been to all of them and will be at Brechin today to complete my 2nd season of going to all matches.
It was 47 last season 53 with the 6 friendlies so 95 or 105 with friendlies games in a row for me and it will be interesting if I will be up to make it a hat trick of all games in a season in our centenary season as I never planned to go to all of them this season.

Queens will hopefully stop Brechin getting their first win today and I am sure once we have scored we will win comfortably.

Brechin has been getting to half time laterly drawing 0-0 as they have not scored in the last 8 matches but once a team has done they usually score a few more.
The champions St Mirren have only bet them by a single goal in all 4 matches this season 1-0 twice & 2-1 twice.

Dobbie will be looking for goals in his tight battle for top goalscorer and Lyle when he comes on as a sub will hopefully score for Queens one last time.

So for one last time this season Come on Queens!

This will be a tricky match in that Brechin will be throwing the kitchen sink at us today to try and avoid that appalling record of going a full league campaign without a win to their name. For Queens it is also very important as if we can claim that sixth spot this would increase the prize money the club will receive which in turn may make the difference between signing a better quality of player rather than simple average for next season. Dobbie also has that incentive of finishing as league top scorer so the lads should be fully focused on the job in hand and that hopefully will be enough to condemn Brechin to that unenviable record come 5 o'clock. Mon the South.

Saw some people getting on a bus down the Whitesands this morning disguised as Teletubbies so presumed they were
Doonhamer fans heading up to Brechin for the final game of the season (dressing - up day).
