I think United voted in favour of the play off set up when they were in the Premier League.....

We failed to win the league or finish 2nd and the players and manager knew the consequences.

All we can ask if that the players give it their best shot, give 100% effort and down down fighting.

These games will determine the future of the manager too and I think it will be curtains should we fail to gain promotion.

If we win the first tie we have to play again at Tannadice 70 hours later against a well rested Livi. Wow!! If we get through the second tie we'll be knackered for the final. I'd go as far as to say that if we somehow navigate our way through that lot back to the premiership then all is forgiven for the season!

We need a Falkirk-St Mirren-Brechin type run from the players to have a chance. Better still would be getting the job done in the first leg of both rounds although i have doubts.

There are a few gaps in there. 6 days before the final starts which could be welcome if we make it

However considering they haven't given 100% all season and couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag I won't be holding my breath.
