    Orta

Many on here, in fact most, and I include myself one of them, have slagged him off and wish him gone, but looking at the under 18's and under 23's this season it would be fair to say he's come up trumps......

Forgive me for sounding like Marley, but all the success of the youngsters (which im mighty pleased about btw), does is make them an attractive target for "others", unless and until the 1st team are seen as being the more natural home for those aspiring to Championship/Premiership play.

Well let's hope, like a certain Mr O'Leary, the manager/coach whoever he may be has the bravery to blend the right ones into our poor first team.

Error, whoever the coach is will be told who to.play, just as it has been this season.

the kids that came through in o,learys squad , were just adding the finishing touches to a squad already packed with quality players .

the scenario now is nothing like it was then , two or three good young kids coming through will not make a great deal of difference , when the vast majority of players currently in this squad need replacing.

its like putting a sticking plaster over a gaping wound .

Hmmmn no the list of those that played an active role in the squad was pretty impressive

Harte, Kelly, Woodgate, McPhail, Maybury, Robinson, Jones, Smith, Kewell, McMaster and technically Batty (as he was home grown)

viduka, radebe, dacourt , bowyer, ferdinand ,huckerby bridges ,bakke, keane , fowler , were all brought in. there is not a cat in hells chance of radrizaani financing that amount of players been brought here anywhere near that calibre, this team needs at least seven or eight quality players regardless, of how may kids come through in the next few years .

Using your example Marley, those players weren't all brought in 1 transfer window they were brought in over 3 years. Yes we do need to make quality signings though I disagree on the number you suggest. I really think (as I keep preaching ) if we bring in 3 or 4 quality players, remove some excess and blood some more of the youth, our team will definitely be in the promotion hunt next season.
