Today is the 45th Anniversary of my first Notts match. We won 4-1 at home to Tranmere to go up into the Second Division (what is now called The Championship of course, for our younger viewers ).
Let's hope it's a good omen

I was there too
That was the last time we were promoted on the final day of the season (not counting play off finals of course).
Could it happen again this year?
Remember the day well, wen't with my best mate and my long departed Dad. Lets hope we can come up with the goods today.
I can remember champagne corks being popped on the County Road terrace a few minutes before the end. Wouldn’t be allowed these days.
I'm three wives on since that game. I was in the Main Stand seats with my Dad for some reason, we didn't usually do seats. I vaguely remember being given some complementaries by a player outside. The thing is, we didn't piss around that day, we went for the jugular. The current team would Nancy around trying not to lose.
