    Jim Duffy leaves Morton

Despite his Dundee connection is Jim Duffy the man to replace Csaba, win, lose or draw. Shades of wee Jim!

Can he be any worse than Csaba? We've given others a chance and there is never a guarantee even if we had Pep Guardiola or the special one! He is motivated takes no prisoners a bit like wee Jim! As Johnston Grant or George Fox says on the McLean Years video, we took a chance on Jim McLean. My ideal choice would be Stuart McCall, just not sure we'll get him though. But also due respect to Csaba if he does by some miracle, go on and get promotion, but not seen nearly enough to substantiate these thoughts

    No.

The song goes "Oh, you'll never win a trophy, Jim Duffee (repeat)".

He won't change that at United.

    He isn't the answer.

    No I agree/disagree.
Jim Duffy could be the next Jim McLean.
I think he is a good choice. He has experience of the Scottish game.
Him and Luggy together. Luggy can bring in the gems from England.

It’s not like Duffy is a young coach like when McLean came in. He has a long record as a manager. Most of it pretty average. He’s just left Morton having taken them to the lower parts of the championship from league one. Style of football was not great.

Ultimately we can do a lot better with an appointment even if we are in the championship.

If csaba and the team performs a miracle and gets us up in play offs I expect he may get more time next season but that will be up to whoever (hopefully) buys the club

Done a decent job at Morton but their supporters are glad to have got rid of him.

Has been sending out some baffling teams, tactics and terrible football.....sounds familiar actually.
