Last Game Of The Season Drama Memories

Typically animal didn't make the effort to obtain a ticket for the Huddersfield game in 2013 and quite rightly missed out .

However in true style he did make the effort and take the 600 mile round trip to Plymouth a few seasons earlier when we needed to better the Norwich result to stay up .

About 2k also made the trip and so the atmosphere in the away end was bang at it .

We did of course concede the early goal which seems to be traditional on these occasions .

However once a young on loan Hammill equalised and Charlton were two goals up at home to Norwich we all chilled a bit .

Jonny Macken even won the game in the second half after a sublime pass from Campbell Ryce .

Fairly comfortable in the end .

On the way back the M5 came to a grinding halt , half n hour past and still no movement , we got out and stretched our legs .

The vehicle in front of us contained 4 Blackpool fans returning from their game at Swansea and we proceeded to chew the fat for the next hour in the middle lane of the M5 , as you do of course .

Heres the actual highlights of that match Animal.
Remember if we lost, Norwich could have stayed up by winning away at Charlton. The media went on about how bad they were in losing 4-0 and they didnt really give us proper credit for winning and keeping ourselves up.
