    Darren taylor leaves dundee united

Dundee United FC today announced the departure of Darren Taylor, the Club’s Head of Football Operations. The mutual agreement between Darren and the Club will see Darren now pursue sporting opportunities elsewhere in the game.
Darren said: “I wish the Club the very best of luck in the Play-Offs and I’ll be supporting them in their quest to regain Premiership status. We got within 45 minutes of the Premiership last season and I am sure the current squad can go one better. I’d like to also thank the Chairman, Board and staff and wish them all the best for the future.”
Mike Martin, Chairman, said: “Darren leaves with our thanks for his dedication and loyalty to Dundee United’s cause and the professionalism and integrity he constantly displayed when representing the club. We also wish him well in his future endeavours.”

If Mr Taylor is in any way responsible for the considerable list of diddies that have rolled up to Tannadice in recent transfer windows (Schneider, Mason, Lyng) then good riddance.

He has been the main man for our signings.....one of rays mates and not qualified for the job in hand. Thank you for your service, but hopefully we will get a decent scout in.

I really cannot thank this lad for his contribution.

All i think of is Nichols and wonder exactly who else he attracted to the club. I dont think he was in the job when Schneider was brought to the club though?
