We've all had our say in the past about Derby's best players, but who do you reckon is the one who despite any shortcomings as a player, really gave his all every time he ran out onto the pitch?

My nomination? No, not my hero Dave Mackay, but a guy largely forgotten these days as he spent so much time in the shadow of Mark Wright.

Fair shout is recent seasons.

Stimac, Wright , Saunders etc all loved it at Derby and had a great rapport with the fans.

Bobby Davison was a legend when we weren't a great side and some seasons was the only positive thing we had.

Used to play footy with Steve and his brother Martin before he made the first team. Great lads and his Dad Tommy was a nice bloke too!
