    That could be a gamble.

    Conte has acknowledged he could be sacked even though his side beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

    Which I've never been able to understand. In my profession and I'm sure most others, you were 'as good as your last project', if you consistently or even once or twice failed, word got around the industry and you were all but unemployable, or at least at the highest level; we were always looking for 'up and comers' to replace such failures. Football management is different, it seems that once you've got labeled as a Premiership Manager, you're on the bandwagon for life and just move around with few clubs looking for those up and comers, they'd seemingly rather employ someone with Premiership or even better 'European' experience, no matter how dire that experience has been. As the man said: "It's a funny old game."

    But Sam is the exception that proves the rule, you don't appoint Sam to win anything in the PL, you appoint him to keep you in it. And he does what it says on the tin. Every time, he's never failed.
