    PL managerial carnage

So far this season there has been 13 managers sacked, 3 in preseason and 10 after the season started -which equals the PL record. Four clubs Watford, West Brom, Palace and Southampton have sacked two managers.
Wenger is leaving, Conte probably is leaving, Puel is under threat after the loss at Palace and the fans don’t like Sam at Everton, while West Brom are under temporary control of Darren Moore. Rafa is undecided about staying, Pocchetino has been hinting. There could even be more to leave from relegated clubs.
It’s carnage but good for compensation seekers.

The average length of stay is now in months rather than years for many clubs.
Eddie Howe will be longest serving with 2027 days today and Sean not far behind on 2009, after Arsene leaves. Most of the rest are in 3 figures.

In spite of the managerial carnage, the same clubs still top the League whilst the others all struggle to on extent or another.
The managers know that they are on thin ice most of the time, however, you have to admit that the financial rewards are still very good, even if you end up getting the sack!

Newcastle United can have no complaints if Rafa takes his services elsewhere.

Leicester want Huddersfield boss David Wagner to take over at the club, with current manager Claude Puel expected to leave at the end of the month.

Steve Kean would do a good job at Leicester.

    Another to go.
Carvalhal is out of contract at the end of the season but had been in talks to remain at the Liberty Stadium.
However, it is understood the Swansea board have decided not to renew Carvalhal's contract after a run of eight games without a win.
