Going back to our previous game by the way, do you reckon Somerset might surprise a lot of teams this season.
Bairstow opened our second innings, but was out just before the close yesterday for 50. If he had still been in this morning, it might have made a big difference to the match. A very assured performance from Brook though, in difficult circumstances- he's got a lot of potential.

Somerset almost won the title two years ago, and still have some good players, so they might do well this season

Is there something wrong with the wicket.
4 wickets fell without Es*** scoring a run

Wicket was OK yesterday when Brook made a ton! Definitely a bit of uneven bounce, with a few keeping low (which did for Root yesterday). Ball not rearing up at all though, in fact a fairly slow pitch. Yorkshire just missed a coupe of catching chances.

UPDATE - Bresnan has just finished Es*** off with another lbw (see my comments above)
Amazing that we were bowled out for 50 first innings and then have gone on to win the match fairly comfortably - what an incredible comeback!

    Yorkshire won by 91 runs.
We are top of the league!
Patterson took 6 for 40 in the Es*** second innings. It's only a couple of weeks ago that he broke a finger. Coad managed to bag 6 wickets in the match, and he was out injured for our first 2018 scheduled game too. So, good work by the Yorkshire physio too.

What an unbelievable match, and great credit to Yorkshire for turning this match around against the defending league champions. Heres to another league title for us Yorkies this season.
