    Team for Monday v Livi

I really dont know where we should go with this! Lewis will be the keeper and we need to get behind him and hope the team keeps him confident. I did see tonight why i liked him earlier in the season.

Robson had done ok recently but i can understand why others want him benched. That defence lost its first goal in a while, which i think it was a bit of a freak, and should be left as is. Durnan has been injured and i dont think is fully over that. He should also be left on the bench as i think he will be of more use away v Livi.

Willo should play Monday and take a card as Gillespie is adequate for Livi away.

    Lewis,
    Ralston, Murdoch, Moshni, Robson
    Fraser, Flood, Stanton, King
    McDonald, Mikkelsen.

Subs, Edje, Smith, Durnan, Slater, Gillespie, keeper?

I have a feeling Mikkelsen will start on the bench with maybe Slater out wide right.

We have got to play Mikk. That was mistake from first half tonight.

There is an argument to say bring durnan in and play Murdoch on left in place of Robson - there will be a lot of heading required on Monday

I expect csaba will stick with his 4-2-3-1

Gillespie has got to come in to give us that steel in midfield. Flood could be rested to preserve him for second leg - when I’d want to play gillespie and flood if we can take a lead down there

    Lewis
    Ralston durnan Mohsni Doc
    Gillespie Stanton
    Smith Fraser McMullan
    Mikk

King, slater and McD all ready to come on.

the game management of the squad and McDonald in particular is going to be key if we have any chance of getting up, he cant play potentially 6 x 90 mins. I think if McMullan is out that is going to be a massive blow too, he is the one guy in our team with genuine pace, and would have been a preferable start to King who can be a passenger when the going gets tough, and is flakey mentally.

We were very poor last night up to the equaliser, and rode our luck/good goalkeeping, but lets be honest, that is probably the only way we are going to go up, because we aren't suddenly going to start putting in great performances all of a sudden. A draw/win Monday would give us a chance, because we can potentially turn the away leg into a home game with a good/vocal support, and would have had three days rest.

Ultimately however, I think like last season, our failure throughout the season to finish even second and avoid two extra games is going to make the final if we get there against better opposition to what we are used to, a bridge too far.

Just got to get there first however.

Disagree completely, McMullan is absolutely useless, genuinely awful player has been for months, rather matty smith got games instead of him

While I don't think he's completely useless King and Smith currently deserve to play ahead of of him. To be fair, he looked like he was feeling the effects of an injury yesterday.

Go to stick with 4-4-2 , changed the game the other night , why it took all season to stumble o to this is another question

It's not that simple. We could play 442 tomorrow and be terrible, switch to 4231 and play them off the park. Mikkelsen and McDonald did pay well together though so I think we should find a way to make that happen regardless.

I think Mikkelsen will definitely start due to his ability to defend set plays. We're going to rely on him, Mohsni and Ralston to win headers against a direct Livi.
