If the target is qualifying for Europe we've failed 4 years in a row . Qualifying for the qualifiers is all we've done and any time we've got remotely close to the preliminary round we've made a James hunt of it. Much like the domestic cups really , last years Scottish cup final aside.

I agree with most of that.
He WILL get at least another season.
My big concern, which I’ve said before, is the huge recruitment ahead.
And we’re talking about 10 players leaving.
Some of them easily replaced, others not so.

Psychologically it would be good if the first signing or two were “big” names that we think are very good signings.
Not journeymen League Two players.
There will be a few of them, I get that, but we need a few that are not.
