Thread: Bowman

    Bowman

Bowman's goal last night was his 10th of the season - basically what we need/can expect from a second striker. I'd have given long odds on that at the start of the season so fair play to him.

There's no doubt that he has delivered more that first impressions suggested. He's a willing worker and has worked his socks off for the team. Can't ask for more than that.

Better to have a worker like Bowman who gives his all for the team in every game, than a luxury player who turns on an outstanding performance one in a blue moon.

For what we paid for him (if anything?), he's done us a turn, and you can tell he's bought in to the program. I'm more than happy to have RB at Fir Park. If he's out of contract, we need to keep him IMO. Boyata and the rest of the Smeltic defence won't relish his challenges on the 19th.

He signed a year extension just before the semi.
