    Town centre parade.

After 27,600 at ewood, what happened? Looked like barely 1,000 turned up. A bit embarrassing. Did everyone think like me and head to the seaside in the nice weather?

I really don't know the ins and outs of this ie the advertising of it.
But, I'm afraid this does in many ways illuminate for me the still reticent approach by the 'anti Venkys' quota of supporters.
Yes they're filling the away games allowances and yes for one game they appear to have held a moments 'amnesty', or maybe some quantity did. The bulk of the 'extras' that made up the 27k+ were there by and large for a cheap day out in the sun at a sports venue IMO.
This again makes me think the attendance at Ewood and any 'off match' function is at the behest of our owners and therefore illustrates anyones attendance as a sign of endorsement of their continued presence.
I can't quite get my head around why this would be thought to be to the betterment of the club, but if this is the firmly set mindset, so be it.
I really think this could be a little damaging to TM's eagerness to go the next level and more importantly Venkys eagerness to fulfil all of TM's requests. If they are aware of the poor response.
    Let's hope I'm wrong

Not the best advertising is to blame for the poor attendance
Let's be honest we won't get anywhere near 27k next season but if we can push 16k who knows we might attract more supporters if we have a flirt around the play offs
The budget will have a big indicator on the ambitions of our owners.
