    Coronation Street

I used to watch this in the days of Ena Sharples, Minnie Caldwell, Albert Tatlock etc. Not tuned in for years and years. Anyone still following?

Lucky you BT, mine still watches religiously, even when we're away every episode is recorded and she binge watches when we get home. I haven't watched it since Reg moved to Lowestoft, but I will say this for it, it's better than Eastenders. It's one of the ressons I have such contempt for the BBC, what sort of organisation is it that proclaims that crock of utter ****e as it's 'flagship programme' ?

They have slowly morphed from a bit of fun snd banter to just more PC indoctrination for the sheep. All are over represented by minorities, homo***uality, prostitution, drug and alcohol abuse. They show things long before 9 pm that children should never have to watch or witness.

When I met Matron about 14 years ago she was always watching them all, kept telling her the acting was terrible, the scripts were silly and it was depressing, she doesn't watch any anymore, must have been something I said

Absolutely spot on..Far too much shown nowadays early on.. It's time the country got some morals back instead of letting children see puffs and lesbos with the tongues down each other's throats..

I did not want to be that blunt but you hit the nail on the head. They wonder why there are children who are mixed up.
Decadence, greed, corruption, lack of morals and conscience are the signs of a society that is on the slippery slope to oblivion.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that TV soap writers are actually tasked with 'tackling issues', they take it seriously as well.
