I think so as well, his time has come.

With you both on that one ---- before Chelsea game would have been about right for me.

Ward is great but he's struggling, I'm think Taylor must be first choice next year.

Wardy has been struggling the last couple of matches but he is class.

Taylor certainly didn't let us down when he came in but he has yet to be on the winning side in a full match.

It doesn't prove much, but here are the league results when Taylor/Ward have started...

    WARD Played 25 Won 13 Drawn 6 Lost 6

    TAYLOR Played 11 Won 0 Drawn 6 Lost 5

We also won at home to Stoke when Ward played for the first 40 minutes, was injured, and replaced by Taylor.

I think we all recognise Wardy’s significant contribution to the progress at Burnley but there comes a time for the changing of the Guard and this could be the moment. One of SD’s many strengths is the way he manages almost seamless changes to the team and I am confident he will know when it is Taylor time.

I still prefer Ward - who can forget that 23-match unbeaten run after Ward replaced Mee at LB.

If anything, I'd play Taylor tomorrow instead of Tarkowski who has gone off the boil since his England cap. Maybe a bit of complacency has crept in.
