Can someone confirm how it works for the teams going in at the 2nd round stage? I know we won't know possible seeding until after the 1st round draw but does that mean we don't get the mini group of 5 or 6 potential opponents before hand, like kkong has posted above for hibs and huns.

Also am I right in thinking that there is no point tuning in until 1pm as it's the first round draw that starts at 12pm our time and then 2nd round an hour after?

12.00 Uefa have some chat and waste some time
12.05 Qr1 draw takes 15 mins
12.30-12.40 Around about this time our shorter list of 5-6 potential opponents is announced
12.40-12.50 QR2 draw

i.e we might not hear the mini group until the draw is upon us

I think we are due a British tie. We deserve it. We also wouldn't need to rely on DM to get the players fired up for it as it would occur naturally.

What we do know already is that we cannot face either of the teams who the Huns and Hibs end up getting drawn against.

This is why it takes time after QR1 draw to make the groups for QR2: no ties between clubs in the same country are allowed.

For QR2:

The teams are divided into seven groups.

There are two draws: the first for groups 1 to 5 (which all feature ten teams), then one for groups 8 and 9 (12 teams).

I think we’re due a tough , virtually unwinnable tie eg the likes of Real Sociedad. Since we played them , we’ve gone out to teams that weren’t really anything special and definitely beatable.
