Should have started more games than Flood imo. But maybe he didn't LOVE the CLUB as much. Sarcasm is all I can manage there, cause LOVING the club makes you a good player and LOVING the club gets you a coaching role when you can't keep possession yourself.

Anyways maybe Gillespie has a better offer somewhere else. Thought he would be a natural and better replacement in front of a decent back 4.

Absolute ridiculous we are letting Gillespie go, who exactly is going to be signed and is as good a replacement? He was the steely midfielder with energy and desire to win that we have alsways been looking for past few seasons. Why he was always on bench is beyong me.. Willo bleeping flood keeping him out.. I would have suspected Gillespie and a fit Fyvie a good option for midfield next year with stanton number 10 (if playing 3 in middle).. Someone at Tannadice just doesnt get it... Almost evveryonw on this bb knows he is one to keep..

In my opinion, starting squad for next season..

    Deniz

    Moshni
    Durnan
    Murdoch
    Ballantyne

    Fyvie
    Gillespie
    McMullen
    Stanton

    Chalmers
    Smith

    Leep those guys to keep some STABILITY and then sign;

    Assuming Fraser gone..
    3x defenders
    central mid ×2 and winger
    Established forward

We will be on a budget. and have Scobbie Tosh and Edge on wage bill.

Slater a better player than Gillespie, underused imo, released from Colchester last week, dont know if he's worth a deal laszlo obviously doesn't rate him.
