if you had the incredible foresight to know that 1M Murphy was going to be crap before he touched a ball for us , then i bow to your superior knowledge of all things. That said id be interested to know then, who should we sign.
Looking for an actual answer rather tan the usual smoke and mirrors. Suspect i wont be getting one though.

we wont sign anybody good enough to get this team back in the premier league , for the same and simple reason we find out every year.

THE BOARD OR OWNERS WHO ARE IN PLACE AT THE TIME, WILL NOT SPEND THE REQUIRED MONEY NEEDED . if you have owners who are spendthrifts or misers then you will get failiure on a yearly basis , that is the simple answer to your question.

what part of we wont sign anybody of any quality dont you understand ?

we dont pay the going rate for quality , 2-3 million wont get you players who are good enough for this level .
