    Sort of proves my point about the Mee situation.

    There really is more to life than lucre.

    £3 million a year including bonuses is enough to live on I think?

    I agree and woudnt mind trying
    Won’t Ben be on half that though, nearer £1.5m or £30k a week.
    Not bad when you’re not playing though.

    TEC somehow managed to get hold of the real player wage structure. Because of a NDA all he can report is that half a dozen of our first team squad are on lots of money and very near to what was quoted relational to Mee!

    If true that’s ridiculous and unaffordable for mostly journeyman players able to play Sean’s way. If it is true why did Keane leave and why hasn’t Ben been given the same deal?

    £40k at Burnley is a lot less than £80k at Everton. signing on bonuses and additional perks will always entice the indulgent, but does Keane look happy?
