Thread: prepare for a big disappointment

    prepare for a big disappointment

i have crushed some numbers and come up with some stats:

72% of teams who concede an equaliser in the last five minutes of a match over 2 legs, lose the return match.

I had a feeling after saturday's game that the momentum was with Scunny...now the stats support that.

Over the last 10 years in league one play-offs there have been 7 draws in first leg games.
6 of the teams who got to the final were away in the first leg
In ties where the first leg is drawn the team that plays the second leg at home gets to the final 87% of the time.

(apologies for the fact that these stats are genuine)

Have you really "crunched the numbers" or did you just make that up?
