35 years ago today - Champions of Scotland @ Dens

What an achievement, especially in the post 1975 era where you had to play all the better teams 4x each, only 4 clubs have managed that (same 4 that have competed in European finals)

As for our opponents that day, ouch, wonder what they have achieved in those 35 years since.....

Oh that's right, Nothing, behind us in every measurement going, and had to watch us consistently perform at levels they wish their club could attain, including in the last decade

    Pleasing

Bigger achievements must have happened at Dens than relegating us surely?

Our failures are their achievements, hence the excitement and posting frenzy when we lost to Livi even though they had a horrendous season themselves. As long as we are ****e then the Dees are happy .It's not about them winning it's about us losing.

    To the thicko trophy virgins

IF United did not defeat dundee at dens that never to be emulated day, the last day of the season, would we have been Champions of Scotland?

If United had won at dens 2 years ago, would we have stayed up?

I'll give you a clue, it's the same answer for both.

P.S. For a bonus point, In the only major cup final contested between Dundee United and Dundee, who who were the winners and what was the venue?
