I quite like what MM has said so far, but many of these implementations will take time to produce results, ultimately our recruitment this summer is going to have the biggest impact. When Craig Levein came in he made many changes behind the scenes which bore fruit in the next few years, but he also got some instant results which bought him time (not forgetting ET was trigger happy with his managers). This should be addressed by having an overall structure which doesn't get tore up every time we appoint a new manager.
I'd be totally against us sacrificing the top of the range St Andrews training facilities btw to go back to the dark ages of second rate facilities just to train in the city.
As for signing targets, sure have a photo-fit/strategy for the type of players you want, but not at the cost of ruling out signings, ultimately its getting the best players that fit into a role within the team. Our best signings the last couple of seasons have probably been Fyvie, Andreu, Stanton and Ralston. Not sure they fit under any particular category than they are good players from possibly a higher calibre than our other signings (3 of them were loan signings who weren't going to be here whether we got promoted or not).
who would have thought someone like kjell olofsson when he arrived at the age of 31 would have such an impact.
Word on the street Morris signing tomorrow, 2 yr deal.
It didn't say when .

I've heard it could be Gordon Greer who was released by killie, same person also said Steven lawless and Gary Fraser both ex patrick thistle will also be signing 2 year deals.
When someone mentioned a top six player, i first thought Bauban. As for Greer, he is 37 and i wonder if he has 2 years left in him.
How many times has Steven Lawless been mentioned for us? But he is down as a winger and i thought we already had 4 of them. King or McMullan on way out? Gary Fraser i know nothing about but is young and doesnt seem to have played much recently.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's lawless, csaba doesn't seem to fancy mcmullan.
