Hope so likewise wasn’t overly impressed last night. Think with current crop we will continue to get bullied all over the park by more physical teams.

When did this bullying actually begin ?
We were top of the league at one point so presumably weren’t being bullied up to then.

We were still getting bullied on the way to the top of the league, its just we had the players in place that didnt allow themselves to be bullied and were able to rise above the tactics and find a winner. The loss of Fyvie and Briels, coupled with the inability to find credible replacements was a key factor last season.

This bullying thing aye. We just didn't have the quality to counter it. 10 good lightweight outfield players will usually beat 10 big hammer throwers. We just need to make sure we have the quality to do that or we need to sign players that will stand up to it.
Right now it's far too early to judge because Csaba likes a big player and we might sign right up until the deadline.

my concern is that we are 4 games in and have had a few like warm performances and we get the same old" it is a full new team and we need time to gel etc" We need to get our players in early enough so that we are up to speed on day one. We aren't good enough to play catch up. We need all our players in NOW, and possibly 1 a bigger name coming in towards the end of the window. Bargain bin shopping on the last day of the window has never served us well!

I look back, and im gonna use Fyvie coming in as an example of this with what happened in the run up to last season where it took an age for someone to be roaded out before Fyvie was added. I really hope that we get 4 good players in by Friday, Monday at the latest so they can get a few weeks training in before the real fun begins in a months time!

Still think we need 2 central defenders, a defensive midfielder just in case Fyvie doesnt get back, and although i dont think there is the space now, a target man up front.

This has been an issue for many seasons, even when the team was flying before the twins were sold off!
