    Danny Rogers

Signs a new two year contract extension.

Really surprised there, I thought he was off.

    It's a strange one.
They must think there is something there, but obviously was not good enough in January when Lewis was injured.
the club must have been quite persuasive.

I just hope there's not a risk that Lewis is off

Probably realised the Woodman thing was a bit of a farce

Doubt that, Woodman was still on the Bench against Celtic

It’s a strange one right enough. Countless posts on him not being good enough, Del sees him in training every day etc & yet we give him a 2 year deal. Especially when you consider the absolute catastrophe he had that night we won in Dingwall, from which his whole career should be judged on.

    Bizarre

They must think he has potential but is not ready yet.
Another season or two working with Lewis must be the thoughts on improving him.

I reckon the loon has let himself down here. It smacks of a financial decision. Just from a self respect view he should have left and found a new club and came back stronger. Even if Lewis is off history shows he isn't going to be first choice. He should have backed himself to make the grade elsewhere.

I reckon a lot of clubs ourselves included are prepared to take the gamble that the first choice goalkeeper won't get a serious injury. Decent goalkeepers on a reasonable wedge aren't prepared to sit on the bench every week. Alexander was offski after one season when that happened to him.
